Music Appropriate for Wedding Ceremonies

Music Appropriate for Cocktails, Receptions, and Parties

Many people ask for advice in choosing music for their wedding ceremony. Click below to read some information on the types of musical selections you may want to include in your ceremony as well as some popular choices for ceremony music.

Choosing Music for Your Wedding Ceremony

We offer several instrumental and vocal combinations to meet your needs and budget--click below to listen to samples. Please note that most of these songs can be performed with a variety of instrumental combinations, so you're not limited to the instruments on a particular recording if you like one of the songs below.  Also, since both of us play multiple instruments, you may be able to have more than one combination for no additional charge. For example, if you want the flute and guitar duo for your wedding but would like to have one or more vocal solos sung during the ceremony, that is possible; or you could have the flute and guitar duo perform for your ceremony but have the piano and guitar duo play during your cocktail hour or reception. Some combinations (particularly those including violin, saxophone, bass, drums, or vibraphone) are limited to availability of the other musicians we work with.
